Products

We turn the technology built through our solution development into products of our own. Here are our four released products and our ongoing R&D projects. More will be added over time.

Simulation

METATOREExcavator simulator

A next-generation excavator simulator for the construction and civil engineering industries.

A training system that uses 3DCG and physics simulation to let operators practice construction machinery in a virtual space close to a real job site. It supports new-hire training, safety training, skill development, and the passing on of expertise.

  • Practice basic excavator operations such as traveling, swinging, digging, leveling, and slope shaping, as many times as needed in virtual space
  • Build real-world job-site risks into scenarios, including buried pipes, pedestrians, vehicles, and narrow roads
  • Realistic changes in visibility and machine behavior give a feel close to the real equipment

3DCG

Machica3DGS viewer

A 3DGS viewer that overlays BIM/CIM data on construction sites recreated in 3D.

Using 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), Machica delivers 3D spaces with near-photographic texture and free viewpoint control. It runs in the browser, making it easy to share information among everyone involved in a project.

  • Recreate the site in high-definition 3DCG and move the viewpoint freely through 360 degrees to understand conditions
  • Overlay BIM/CIM data on the recreated 3D space to review design information and current conditions together
  • Opens in a browser, so it can be shared without dedicated software

Experience & Expression

Genboku幻墨

A performance that fuses calligraphy with digital art.

Using projection mapping, Genboku adds visual effects to calligraphy, such as trails of light that follow the brushstrokes, to create a dynamic visual experience. It has been performed at the Yamato Museum's renewal event and in the "Genboku Project" with Prefectural University of Hiroshima.

Education & Making

Digihaco Programming Car

Learn how self-driving works by seeing, building, and driving.

A car-shaped learning kit that lets parents and children enjoy learning the basics of making things and programming together. It combines a laser-cut MDF body kit with a microcontroller (IchigoJam) and modules. Once assembled, the car can run right away on a preset program, and you can also try programming it to drive on its own.

  • A body kit you punch out and assemble like a plastic model
  • Connect the wiring and sensors by hand, and explore "why it moves" and "how it moves" in the BASIC language
  • Winner of the 19th Hiroshima Good Design Award

R&D projects

Projects we are pursuing as joint research and demonstration development with universities and companies.

About WAN
  • METATORE+

Selected for the FY2026 Go-Tech Program (R&D support for growth-oriented SMEs). Building on 3DCG, XR, and physics simulation technology, we are conducting joint R&D with Hiroshima City University and Yasuda Women's University.
