Attending the Hiroshima Good Design Award Ceremony: "Content That Can Promote B2B Expansion and IT Education"

On October 28, 2025 (Tue), our President and CEO, Ayumu Mitani, attended the "Hiroshima Good Design Award" ceremony held in Hiroshima City.

Today, "design" is used strategically not only to raise the value of products but also to build corporate brands.
This award is held to promote design among manufacturing companies located in the Hiroshima Metropolitan Area, and many companies and creators take part every year.

Why the Digihaco Programming Car was selected

Discover "the fun of engineering" through play

The "Digihaco Programming Car" is a hands-on learning kit where children learn by watching, building, and moving.
When they write a program, the car starts to run, and children experience the thrill of "making it move with their own hands."
Its appeal lies in a design that lets them naturally encounter the fun of engineering while learning as if playing a game.

A design beautiful enough to display

Although it is a learning kit, we pursued a design that also stands out as interior decor.
With its wood texture, simple form, and neatly arranged internal wiring,
we finished it as something like an art object that adds color to a learning space.
The judges also highly praised its design: "pick it up to learn, and display it to enjoy."

At the ceremony, design projects and products from Hiroshima were introduced, and through interaction with attendees we truly felt the power of "design born in the region that energizes the region."
We also had an exhibit where people could pick up and try the Programming Car, and it was well received by many of those involved.
