We Handled Video Staging and Content Production for the "Yamato Museum Night Museum"

World Area Networks Co., Ltd. handled video staging and content production for the "Yamato Museum Night Museum," which opened on August 1, 2026 (Sat).

Tracing the voyages of the battleship "Yamato" at the Yamato Museum by night
For this Night Museum, we planned and produced video content on the theme of "an experience of looking up at the night sky while reflecting on the routes the Yamato sailed."
The video uses motifs of the places the battleship "Yamato" sailed to, tracing the history of its voyages.
Beyond the video itself, we also considered how the entire venue would look, combining it with lighting evocative of the sea. Our aim was to create a space where visitors could enjoy an atmosphere unique to the Yamato Museum at night, different from regular opening hours.
Video and lighting create a museum unlike the daytime

During the event, many people came to explore the Yamato Museum at night, something not normally possible.
In a magical atmosphere quite different from the daytime, it gave many people the chance to see projection mapping tracing the history of the battleship "Yamato's" voyages.
