A useful tool for many industries, recommended by a former TV station camera operator! Online streaming case study

We present a case study of our online streaming work for the Chuden Engineering Consultants technical presentation meeting.

About the presentation meeting

At the request of Chuden Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd., we streamed their annual "Technical Presentation Meeting" online. The stream was provided for employees who could not attend the venue due to work commitments.

What are the benefits of online streaming?

Online streaming has several benefits.

① No geographical limits

Because people can join from anywhere in the world, you can reach a wide audience without geographical constraints.
This makes it easy for participants far away to join the stream.

② Cost savings

You can cut the costs that come with holding an event in person, such as venue rental and travel expenses.
There is also no need for printed materials, which reduces overall expenses.

③ More participants

Because online streaming is not limited by the capacity of a physical venue, in theory it can accommodate an unlimited number of participants. This allows more people to join the stream.

④ Archives and on-demand viewing

By recording the stream and offering it later as an archive, people who could not join in real time can also watch it. This extends the impact of the stream over a long period.

Highlights of our streaming

TV-style switching between shots

A technical presentation meeting covers difficult content, and streams of this kind tend to be monotonous to watch. By using multiple cameras and capturing not only the presenters and their slides but also the atmosphere of the venue as needed, we made the stream engaging from start to finish.

Online streaming is a useful tool for many industries

Here we explain which industries should make use of online streaming, and why.

① Education

Online classes and webinars can provide learning opportunities that go beyond geographical limits.
This allows pupils and students to receive high-quality education even from home.

② Entertainment

Streaming concerts, plays and other performances online lets you reach a much wider audience.
It can also encourage interaction with fans.

③ Corporate and business sector

Holding meetings, presentations and product launches online makes attendance more convenient for participants and reduces travel costs. Workshops and training can also be carried out online.

Workflow for online streaming

Here is the main flow from your streaming request to the day of the stream.
① Streaming request
② Consultation (date and time, location, content, streaming tools, etc.)
③ Equipment selection (choosing the necessary equipment based on the content)
④ Quotation
⑤ Location scouting (advance check of the internet environment, etc.)
⑥ Rehearsal (held at the same venue as the actual event)
⑦ Final preparations
⑧ Day of the online stream
